| LESSONS Lessons are available at Fox Hollow Farm to children (ages 3 and up) and to adults. We instruct beginners thru advanced riders in hunt seat riding, beginning dressage and Western lessons including instruction in reining and cutting. Our instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and have a genuine interest in helping you learn. Our lesson horses and ponies have been selected for their kind natures and they come in all sizes, shapes and colors. These animals will keep you safe while allowing you to learn. We have horses and ponies for all levels of rider. Bring the whole family! In addition to the actual riding, students will be instructed in the proper grooming and care of the horse before and after the ride, including tacking up and untacking the horse. We teach overall horsemanship. $45.00 per lesson Lessons are conducted either in a half hour private or a one hour group situation. Most new students will begin riding with private lessons and move to a group situation when it is appropriate. Special offerings (camp days, discounted lesson packages, group events) are generally conducted in a group setting with small groups of 3 - 6 riders of similar ages and riding levels. Lessons are available seven days of the week and we do have an indoor riding ring so that we are not at the mercy of the weather. We ride year round.
